Embark on a captivating journey starting with a hotel pickup at 8:15 a.m. for a comprehensive 2-hour tour. Our first stop is at the Cathedral, where you'll marvel at the Treasure Chapel, showcasing exquisite Baroque style. We'll then explore the basilica of St. Restituta, the first early Christian basilica dating back to the 4th century AD. The adventure continues by minibus, passing through the city center with a glimpse of the imposing Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino). 

Our next pause brings us to the enchanting Posillipo area, where the terrace of the church of S.Antonio offers an unparalleled panoramic view of the Gulf. Returning to the city center, we'll visit Plebiscite Square, the splendid Umberto I gallery, and admire the exteriors of the Royal Palace and the S.Carlo theater. Our journey then takes us to the iconic Pompeii for a guided tour of the archaeological excavations.

 The guide will unfold the city's history, showcasing notable sites like the Forum, the Baths, the House of the Vettii, and the Lupanare, all preserved under ash and lapilli from the eruption of 79 AD. Following the exploration, indulge in a lunch break featuring the iconic Margherita pizza and a refreshing soft drink. The adventure continues to Torre del Greco, providing access to Vesuvius National Park up to an altitude of 1000 meters. 

After parking, a scenic walk to the summit of the only active volcano in continental Europe awaits. Explore the impressive crater at an altitude of 1200 meters, offering panoramic views from Cape Miseno to the tip of Campanella. Expect to return around 5:30 pm, having experienced a day filled with history, breathtaking landscapes, and the unique flavors of the region.
